Exemplar Services is pleased to announce the release of a new training unit for the refrigeration and air conditioning sector, along with the next round of National Validation Workshops scheduled for October.
New Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Unit
UEERA0064 – Recover, pressure test, evacuate, charge and leak test refrigerants – split systems
This newly released unit covers the skills and knowledge required to safely recover refrigerants and undertake pressure testing, leak testing, evacuation and refrigerant charging for split air conditioning and heat pump systems.
The unit supports the development of practical skills and knowledge required by the refrigeration and air conditioning industry and provides Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) with an additional training product for delivery.
National Validation Workshops – October
Exemplar Services will conduct its next round of National Validation Workshops in October, focusing on two electrical training units:
- UEECO0023 – Participate in electrical work and competency development activities
- UEERL0003 – Conduct in-service safety testing of electrical cord-connected equipment and cord assemblies
National validation provides an important opportunity for RTOs, trainers and teaching staff to contribute their practical experience and industry knowledge. Feedback gathered through the validation process helps ensure training products remain current, relevant and aligned with industry, regulatory and safety requirements.
Exemplar Services will provide participating RTOs with confirmation of the workshop dates and survey materials ahead of the sessions. Survey responses will help inform the agenda and support productive discussions during the workshops.
