Readiness Assessment
Designed for learners, employers, and RTOs, the Readiness Assessment (RA) helps determine whether an individual is prepared for the demands of an electrical apprenticeship. By assessing core literacy and numeracy skills aligned to the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF), the RA provides early insight into learning readiness.
What the Readiness Assessment Covers
Literacy
Importantly the Literacy component evaluates reading and writing skills aligned to ACSF Level 2 & 3, the recommended benchmark to support electrical apprentices in progressing successfully through their qualification.
Numeracy
The Numeracy component examines the fifteen core subtopics underpinning the first two years of the electrical trade program, with questions mapped across ACSF levels:
