National Validation Workshop – Have Your Say
Exemplar Services is pleased to announce that preparation is now underway for the upcoming National Validation Workshop, focusing on two key units:
- UEEEL0047 – Implement and monitor energy sector WHS and environmental policies and procedures and
- UEERL0002 – Attach cords and plugs to electrical equipment for connection to a single phase 230 Volt supply.
To support meaningful and informed participation, survey materials for both units are now available via the LMS. We strongly encourage all Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) to access and review the resources ahead of the workshop:
The workshops are scheduled for 21 and 22 April, and will bring together industry and training stakeholders to review and validate these units, ensuring they continue to meet current regulatory, safety, and industry expectations.
Teaching staff are particularly encouraged to engage with the materials and provide feedback through the surveys. Their practical insights and experience will play a critical role in shaping the discussions and outcomes of the sessions.
Invitations have already been distributed to all RTO department heads. If you believe your team should be involved and have not yet received an invitation, please contact Exemplar Services.
We look forward to working collaboratively with the sector to maintain high-quality, relevant training outcomes.
Validation Activities Underway
Upcoming validation workshops will be held for the units:
- UEEEL0047 – Identify, shut down and restart systems with alternate supplies
- UEERL0002 – Attach cords, cables and plugs to electrical equipment for connection to 1000 V a.c. or 1500 V d.c.
These validation sessions are scheduled for the week commencing 27 April and will involve trainers and subject matter experts from current client organisations reviewing assessment materials and contributing feedback.
Validation plays an important role in ensuring training and assessment resources remain aligned with industry practice and current training requirements.
Participants are encouraged to complete the preview surveys prior to the workshop to help guide discussions and capture feedback in advance.
Validation outcomes, including minutes and actions, will be shared directly with participants and published on the Lighthouse platform under the support documentation section for client access.
